This is a place for men to come and have a drink, perhaps visit the alcoves with one of the slaves that are here. There will be dancing and celebrations held here. This is a place where men can be men. There are alcoves within the den, though there is only one way into and out of these alcoves. The door to the alcoves is a simple leather sheet that hangs from the ceiling to the floor. There are always twenty -20- armed guards on duty day and night, so there is no possible way to steal a slave from the den.

Around the perimeter were no dina's or bright flowers, instead a bench or two could be seen. Lamps would light the darkness of the evening. Composed of red bricks it displayed a few windows. The structure itself was impressive, obvious from the design it had been constructed for men.   The Brick House Paga Den's large heavy wooden door would easily open then fall closed behind the man who would venture inside. Polished tem wood floors would allow the thud of heavy boot falls to be muffled.  Large spacious rooms that had entryways allowing the larger rooms to connect. Off to the sides of the larger rooms were smaller alcoves; no doors but leather curtains separated them off of the main hallways. The scents within would be those which men found pleasure in; food, drinks, tobacco and the sweet enticing scent of slave flesh. Inside slaves could be seen kneeling or chained in various spots and positions to be pleasing to the eye.  A few might be in service seeing that men were served drinks or food, some hidden behind the alcove curtains. Toward the back of the den was a large open room. In the middle of the room was a large semi raised sand pit for dancing where a pole was sunk deep into the sands. This pole contained rings, used as dancing props or for tethers where the slaves could be chained to the post. Furs placed strategically upon the tem wood floors for comfortable viewing of the entertainment taking place. Low tables would be within easy reach for many who rested upon the furs. Along the walls was a multitude of paraphernalia to be used on slaves or for props by slaves who were dancing. At any given time music could be heard playing within the paga den. Sometimes the melody was soothing to a man's senses and other times brazenly sinful to tantalizingly bringing forth the most wanton urges of a slave.

Rules of the Den:

1. The Paga Den establishment of the City of Lydius will allow entrance to men and slaves only. Free women are not allowed within any paga dens of Lydius.

2. There will be no fights or deaths within the den. If a match is to be fought, it will be taken outside. If a fight erupts it will go to the sands or the fighters will be ejected by the 20 guards. (If any attempt to fight within the Den they will be bolted from the room.)

3. All slaves collared to the Den will serve ALL men who enter. Any slave kneeling not begging to serve will be subject to punishment.  Slaves collared to the Den may be purchased with permission from the city.  Slaves privately owned by Masters, DO NOT enter unless your Master has given you permission to do so.  If permission is granted to enter you are to kneel by his feet and offer to serve him, otherwise remain silent unless he requests your services.  If your Master is not present it is highly unwise to enter.  As all slaves are subject to discipline within the Den.  Slaves collared not living in Lydius, do not enter unless your Master has a City Pass and he has given you permission to be here.  (If your Owner does not have a City Pass, you will be bolted from the room.)

4. When one brings a girl to an alcove one may keep her there for most practical purposes for as long as one wishes. She is yours, for most practical purposes, until one chooses to reopen the curtains. After the tavern is closed an attendant will let you out and, taking charge of the girl, see that she is properly chained at her ring by the girl wall or kenneled.  -  {Rogue of Gor - 20}

(If you desire to RP in an Alcove, take it out of the Special Interest public room and go to a Private Room, no exceptions will be tolerated in the Brick House Paga Den Public Room of Lydius.)
